Projects at this level build upon work from level 1 and have individuals who organise events to help substance misuse prevention
• Project volunteers receive training on prevention & community mobilisation
• Network of resources available to act as a referral agency in order to signpost drug user’s & families to support
• Promote www.drugs.ie
• Establishment of a medium term programme of activities
• Relationship formed with other agencies to promote collaboration in prevention work
• Church & Community aware of project as a valued resource to community to use and support
• Information Source for community on issues related to drugs / alcohol
• Events on awareness raising & avoidance skills held in parish & schools in line with best practice
• Promote parish individuals being trained in leadership skills
• Promote DEWF (Drug Education Workers Forum) & Putting the pieces together training with volunteers
